Počátek 90.tých let minulého století znamenal mimo jiné též velký tvůrčí boom domácích kapel a interpretů naší undergroundové scény, kam také industriál vždy patřil a patřit bude. Otevřené hranice znamenaly krom spousty inspirativních drog také neomezený přísun nahrávek všemožných zahraničních umělců, kteří k nám tehdy také, a mnohdy velmi rádi a za ceny mnohem nižší, než jinde při svých evropských tour, konečně přijížděly koncertovat. V této inspirativní a vstřícné atmosféře vznikaly i songy na desku „Antiseptic Operation Ver. 02“ temně elektronické party Insist.
Album se veze na vlně tvrdé, temné a nervní elektroniky s rytmickými a pochodovými spodky, polodeklamovaným stylovým lehce zkresleným zpěvem v angličtině. Kapela ve svém zvuku kvitovala prvky tehdy ve světě hodně silné Electro Body Music, stylu s industriálem vždy pevně propojeným a tehdy silným třeba v Belgii či v Německu. Cizí jí nebyla ani temnota a drsnost čelních představitelů tehdy rovněž hodně silné elektro-industriální scény kanadsko-americké. Nejde ovšem o jeden z mnoha plagiátů. Insist byli zkrátka českou součástí toho všeho. Ostatně o kvalitě tohoto spolku hovoří třeba i jejich tehdejší koncertní výlety do Německa, kde „naše“ scéna byla vždy natolik silná, že neměla potřebu zvát si domů nic, co by nebylo zajímavé a zájmu tamního publika vhodné.
Album „Antiseptic Operation Ver. 02“ zaujme mimo jiné již zmíněnou nervností a naléhavostí, kterou přitom tvůrci nedosahují žádnými zbytečně složitými či pompézními prostředky. Základy songů tvoří místy strohé a úderné linky elektronických klávesových nástrojů, které se, vzájemně proplétají a spolupracují, vkrádají do posluchačovy mysli. Rytmické spodky mnohdy nutí takřka k pohybu a údernosti dodává výslednému zvuku a účinku i zmíněný syrový zefektovaný vokální projev.

The beginning of 90's was known for the massive creative blossom of Czech underground bands and projects in which industrial music always belonged. Once again opened frontiers were permeable not only to a huge amount of drugs but also for an unlimited number of artists and their records, who also, for the considerable lower fees than in the rest of the Europe, performed in our country for the first time. This highly creative and inspirational atmosphere also gave birth to songs for the album “Antiseptic Operation Ver. 02” of the dark electronic group Insist.
All the album follows the stream of dark, heavy and nervous electronic with rhythmical martial backgrounds assorted with semi declamation vocal in English language. The band's sound conveyed with electronic body music style, very popular in early 90's, which was always very strongly connected with industrial scene, mainly in Belgium and Germany. The inspiration also goes to rawness and obscurity of the Canadian – American electro-industrial scene, which was also influential in the same era.
Fortunately Insist's music is not a bare copy but an emancipated and equal Czech response to the genres named above. It's quality could also be measured by the fact, that Insist were very often invited to Germany, which had such an strong and popular scene, which gave space only to that kind of bands, which can really stand next to the top of the rhythmic industrial music by that time.
Album “Antiseptic Operation Ver. 02” catches you by it's nervous and insistence, which is not made by monumental or complicated tools. The basics of the songs are made by raw and catchy lines of keyboards and synths, which are combined together in various synergies and penetrates listeners mind. Rhythmical patterns often makes you want to move and express your feelings. The feeling of the music is enriched also by raw vocals supported by various effects.
