Co dělat v zaprděným Vrchlabí, abyste nezhebli na nechutenství? Posloucháte industrial, alternativní rock, čtete poezii, tak prostě popadnete nástroje i nenástroje a začnete vyluzovat zvuky. Většinou v garáži, ale občas pro odvážné publikum. Punqa je parta různých lidí, kteří se na malém městě prostě museli potkat, protože je spojila jejich odlišnost od ostatních a nutkání něco stvořit. Je to jen zhudebněná poezie s výrazovými prostředky, jak nám uši narostli (jak sami prohlásili). Jsou to rituály primitivních kmenů, je to industriál, je to lo-fi, je to co budete chtít. Prostě ticho mrazí k smrti a nutí zvuk ke zrodu.

In order not to die of embitterment, what can one do in a dull town like Vrchlabí? You listen to industrial, alternative rock, read poetry, then you just grab musical and non-musical instruments and start making sounds. Mostly in a garage but occasionally for brave audience. Punqua is a bunch of various people who just had to meet in such a small town. Their distinction from others and an urge to create something connected them together. It is only poetry set to music with vehicles of expression played by ear (as Punqa said). There are rituals of primitive tribes, it is industrial, it is lo-fi, it is whatever you want it to be. Simply, the silence freezes to death and impels the sound to be born.
